Our digital future is bright with possibilities. By designing relevant, user-centered services, I help make it a reality.

I‘m an Austrian born Digital Product Designer (UI/UX). In Graz, Austria, I studied information design, with a focus on media and interaction design. Within my career, I have seized the opportunity to do a variety of creative work, from film production to editorial design. In 2016, I decided to set my focus on digital products.

My current role and responsibilities

In January 2020 I stepped up to a more senior as well as more holistic role and joined VMware Pivotal Labs in London as a Senior Product Designer. Together with an incredible talented, international team of fellow designers, product managers and engineers, I help enable clients to build user centered, lean and agile digital products.

As a designer at Labs, I wear many hats:

On the one side, I am responsible for the end to end customer experience including user research, UX, UI, accessibility, usability testing, pairing with engineers and - once live - monitoring the success of the product and driving continuous improvement.

On the other side I enable clients to learn lean, user centered design practices and build better products, faster. I ensure the whole team takes part in user research, facilitate balances team co-creation sessions and most important, support the team in building empathy for users and their needs.

Embracing the unknown

Colleagues describe me as an empathetic person who really values people, their needs, feelings and different perspectives. To me, holistic thinking is the key to being a good designer. As well as curiosity and the ability to learn, quickly. I embrace the unknown and like to try out new things, whether they be approaches, tools, apps, games or food.

Making products that matter

I believe in my responsibility to create products that matter. I want to design services with a positive impact on society. I consider myself as the users‘ advocate by making sure we empathise with the people we design for, collecting their feedback and engaging them from day one.

Workin in an user centered, lean and agile way

Ideally, I like to work in an evidence based, agile project setup because I believe in it as a faster, more efficient (and, frankly, more fun) way to bring services to market. Ideally in a balanced product team that shares its knowledge, and is aligned in producing a solution that solves real user problems.

To me, working internationally and getting to know new, inspiring people enriches both my work and my personal life. So go on, drop me a line.
